John was injured when the humvee he was traveling in was bombed. He escaped the inferno, only to be burned over 60% of his body; he was the only survivor. He is in critical condition in San Antonio TX. The ticket sales and donations will help his parents with their expenses while they are away from their jobs to be by his side.
