9th Annual Summer Beer Festival Is 2-Day Event

Displaced Brewery Fanatics will be happy to know that tickets are now on sale for the Ninth Annual Summer Beer Festival, to be held at Riverside Park in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This year, the event takes place on Friday, July 21, from 5-9 pm and on Saturday, July 22, from 1-6 pm.

Beer enthusiasts will have the chance to sample selections from over 150 beers representing the craftsmanship of more than 30 Michigan breweries. Additionally, there is a fine selection of food.

The annual event, sponsored by the Michigan Brewers Guild, will be held in the Historic Depot Town. Tickets to the event may be purchased in advance by phone, at participating breweries, or over the Internet through the Michigan Brewers Guild home page, where visitors can get additional information, including local accomodations for an overnight stay near the festival grounds.

And what is the admission price for all this fun? Just $25 in advance, or $30 at the park for Friday. For Saturday, the admission is $30 in advance and $35 at the gate. And if you're really enthusiastic, you can get a Two-day ticket for $45 in advance or $55 at the gate.

Additionally, a designated driver ticket costs just $5 and may be purchased at the gate only.
